Hi, we have toyota's fleet including LC105, LC200, LC 76, LC PRADO, RAV4  year range between 2000 to 2019. we're using Teltonika FM5300 Devices with GPSGATE. how to connect and read canbus data from our fleet with FM5300

Thank you for your question.

Can bus data can be read with FM5300 only when using it with LV-CAN200 adapter.  Base firmware does not have LV-CAN200 functionality and in order to get special firmware for FM5300 device please contact your sales manager.

If FM5300 Doesn't have can functionality can we go and replace it with FMB640 devices? does FMB640  have Can function?  can we use FMB640 to connect canbus and read it without LV-CAN200 or ALL-CAN300 ?

Hello,

FMB640 has wide functionality and can be used in various scenarios. FM5300 does not have full functionality in  base firmware with LV- CAN . Fn5300 is made to read FMS data from heavy vehicles and most CAN data can be retrieved from FMS line. Light vehicles does not have FMS line where we can connect FMB640/FM5300, so in order to read CAN data there is accessories like  LV-CAN200 or ALL-CAN300. As I mentioned above there is a link of supported vehicles that you can use these accessories with this device.
