Question

I assume the TM2500 is pre-configured for microphone input using M2M applications.

Sound quality is poor. gain level pre-set to 7.

This being the case am I correct in assuming the problem relates t othe quality of the microphone itself?

Thanks for your question. Please let me know device type you using? Is it TMT250 personal tracking or any other device with Bluetooth hands free adapter?

We are developing a specialised vehicle tracking unit.

The model number on the module is TM2500. IC23005-TM2500.

ID. 2AJLOTM2500TLT.

No hands free Bluetooth adaptor.

We wish to use a microphone as a remote listening device.

I assume you mean TMT250 personal tracker but not TM2500 module inself.
TMT250 has integrated good quality microphone which is used in IP67 housing, because the sound is blocked aand you can hear sound up to 20cm.
If order to use voice communication on TMT250 you should use handfree handset.
