Hello.

While having iButton notification set to DOUT2, it works perfectly and user gets informed iButton (or multiple iButtons) was used by turning on a buzzer.

Then I also enabled Immobilizer set to DOUT2. After engine is turned on, Immobilizer starts to buzz and I'm able to shut it off by iButton. From that time there is no notification if any other iButton is used and iButton Notification configuration is ignored.

Is there a chance to have Immobilizer and iButton Notification set to DOUT2 at same time?

Thanks, Peter

Hello,

Thank you for your question.

You can not use the Immobilizer and iButton read notification features on the same Digital output, before immobilizer is disabled the Digital output value is 1, this causes the buzzer or any LED that is connected to be on, when iButton is used it it changes Digital output value to 0, if you enable the the read notification it would change the Digital Output value to 1 again, this would cause issues if relay is used. We recommend you using different digital outputs for both features.

Please also note:

All DOUT control functionalities now have their own priority (non-configurable). Depending on priority DOUT control may be overtaken by higher priority functionality without finishing previous scenario.

DOUT control scenarios and functionalities by priority:

  • Immobilizer (highest priority)
  • DOUT control via call
  • iButton Notification
  • Green Driving
  • Jamming
  • Overspeeding
  • Idling
  • DOUT control via SMS (lowest priority)

For example, if jamming will be detected during Overspeeding, then Jamming functionality will control DOUT.

Hope we correctly understood your question and this explanation helps you, if this is not what you described or meant please specify your question.
