Hi all.

Is there a way to use a bluetooth remote button, similar to those that could be used with an FMB001 or else, to switch the tracker to private mode (ie, not reporting data to AVL backend)?

Thank you.

regards.

Denis

Hello,

At the moment there is no way to execute "private" functionality. All you can do is physically unplug the device from the power source in order to stop sending data.

However, Teltonika is working on implementing private mode with where GPS data will not be sent to the server. Switching via Bluetooth should be available as well.

Mocevicius, Thank you for you reply.

Unplugging the OBD may not be as easy and it might still be running on the battery. Anyway, I am very interested by the private mode once implemented.

As talking about new stuff, a plug&play tracker similar to that one gosafe G717 would be great too! (using the button to switch to private and back to normal)

regards.
