Question

FMB640 and OUT1-4.

Can I turn on power on one or more of the digital outputs 1-4  with the SMS command setdigout #### X Y Z W.

I want to for example send 12V thru OUT1 for 2 seconds when I send the command "setdigout 1000 2 0 0 0"

Do I need to do some kind of configuration to get this to work?

I have tried a lot of possibilities here:

Have put 12v power on AIN1 and DIN1 to see if this power is redirected to OUT1 when I turn on OUT1 with SMS, but the out1 cable has NO POWER even if the configurator says that digital output 1 has value 1 and the SMS to turn it on is accepted.

Is there some kind of configuration i have to do to get power on OUT1, it looks like an accepted SMS from the device with: "setdigout 1000 0 0 0 0" is not enough.

SMS is fine to control Digital Outputs.

My wiring was wrong!  

I thougt that the device would deliver 12V power out on OUT1-4 

• When I connected + to OUT1 and – to the ground wire nothing happened!
• When I connected - to OUT1 and + to the device 12V power it works fine!

Now I am able to turn on and off power with SMS on the wires OUT1-4
