I would like to inform that we are working towards accurate mileage calculation.

Devices we are considering OBD3001 and FMB120 with ALLCAN connected.

I believe OBD3001 and ALLCAN directly communicate via CAN BUS to vehicle ECU. So please advise that how can we precisely calculate Total Mileage by  using OBD3001 and FMB120 with ALLCAN.

Please advise us any setting which we can do in both devices configurator so we can get accurate milegae.

Hello

Thank you for the question.

It's not necessary to use CAN data to count milage. Anyway if you choose to use OBDII data to count the distance driven:
Configurator:
OBDII -> make sure reading OBDII is enabled
Trip \ Odometer section -> Trip \ Odometer section -> Trip settings -> Low priority (or any other of your choice)
Trip \ Odometer section -> Odometer -> OBD
Trip \ Odometer section -> Odometer -> Odometer Value (km) -> Enter current Odometer value shown in dashboard of your vehicle
I/O-> Trip and Total odometer -> Low priority (or any other of your choice)
Procedure is identical for LVCAN, just choose appropriate settings:
CANDAPTER-> make sure reading CANDAPTER is enabled and correct program number is entered
Trip \ Odometer section -> Trip \ Odometer section -> Trip settings -> Low priority (or any other of your choice)
Trip \ Odometer section -> Odometer -> LVCAN
Trip \ Odometer section -> Odometer -> Odometer Value (km) -> Enter current Odometer value shown in dashboard of your vehicle
I/O-> Trip and Total odometer -> Low priority (or any other of your choice)
Additionally, if mileage is read from your car you can count from server side
CAN ADAPTER -> Enable Total Mileage

Thank you very much for your response .

So i will use below steps for counting total milage in OBDII (FM3001) device.

And my second concern was that what AVL ID will i use for counting total mileage ?
