I am a newbie to this so apologies if the answer is somewhere I have not seen yet. The telematic setup planned will be an embedded device (A) connected to an FMC125 (B) via RS485. (A)<-->(B)

How do I send out a text message initiated by the RS485 embedded device?

e.g. The embedded device has an alert that needs to be sent out to a mobile device, what command would I have to use to sent from the embedded device via RS485 to the FMC125 to send out this alert?

Hello,

Thank you very much for contacting us.

Our devices like FMC125 with RS-232 and RS-485 have the possibility to establish link with external devices using text messages via TCP link mode. FMC125 has to be connected to the external device through RS232 or RS485. Any string of data coming to RS232 or RS485 will be routed to server. Messages that are exchanged between FMC125 device and server, have to be packed in Codec 12 format. Please review FMC125 Testing RS-232 and RS-485 TCP link mode and Codec for more information on TCP link mode. Please also review Teltonika Wiki-FMC125 for more information on the features and functions of FMC125. Thank you.
