Greetings,

I have a question about the imbilizer scenario, regarding the identification of drivers, is it possible to add and delete the drivers' iButton codes remotely? If the answer is yes, how?

Hello Omar

Thank for your comment

Yes, it is possible to add and delete Ibutton IDs remotely, there are 2 ways this can be done.

SMS Command: with the command "setparam" you can change any configurable parameter of your device, including IButton list. Please follow the instructions from the following link in order to use the right structure and sintaxys for the command

Also this link will give you a closer idea about how SMS commands work and available commands.

and this link provides information of ID paremeters

Fota web: If you have acces to Fota Web, you can upload a configuration file and charge it to your device(s) with the correspondig information, to do so, go to Devices > Select the device(s) to need to update > press "Create task" and select the proper file.

The configuration of your device is configured by defect to connect with Fota Web every 12 hours, if it was not changed with the former configurations you can wait for this time or you can use command "getconnect" to force inmediate connection.

If you do not have acces to Fota Web or need to dig into specific issues please reach out to your Sales Manager.  If you don't have any contacts with our Sales managers, please contact them on our official website https://teltonika-gps.com/ and click on the "Contact Us" button. When you will click, please fill out the form and submit it.

Note: as a topic, please choose "Vehicle Telematics" or you can send an e-mail with the description of your situation to info@teltonika.lt

Kind regards.
