Randomly FMB965 stopped accepting the default PIN (5555). This happened after configuring it and installing it in a vehicle. I have taken it apart and unplugged it from the battery in order to reset it, but it still rejects pins.

I've tried with two windows PCs, phone and a linux one. Sometimes it rejects the pin, sometimes it times out when trying to connect.

Hello, good day

Please consider the configuration through the physical USB cable, or extracting configuration file through FOTA Web and check if the local PIN bluetooth parameter was not changed.

If the issue is more complex then it would require further attention outside the forum. For that, please contact your sales manager. If you don't have any contacts with our Sale managers, please contact with them on our official website and click on the "Contact Us" button. When you will click, please fill the form and submit it. Note: as a topic, please choose "Vehicle telematics". Or you can send an e-mail with description of your situation to When contacting Us, please provide: IMEI/Logs/Configuration file/Intenational GSM number/Firmware version/ect, please follow these recommendations:

Best regards.

How can I register on FOTA web?

Just noticed something, if I select "None" as connection mode in the "auto connect to external device" section, I can connect via bluetooth to the device again. Does this mean that I cannot configure it to connect to my OBD2 device and still have access to it via bluethooth?
