Hello,

When we update device configuration through FOTA WEB, does CAN program numbers stays the same or is updated from configuration? We have one configuration file for multiple vehicles with different CAN program numbers and we are wondering if we can update configuration through FOTA WEB without resetting the CAN program numbers.

If a configuration file with a particular Program Number (Parameter ID: 45002) is assigned to a device via FOTA WEB, the device will use the Program Number specified in the configuration file. Therefore, you should not assign a particular configuration file with a standard Program Number to devices on different vehicles that are not supported with the same Program Number.

Is there a way to update configuration via FOTA WEB without affecting existing CAN Program Number?

You can update the configuration via FOTA WEB by uploading a full configuration.

Here you need to specify the Program Number in the configuration file you assign.
