I recently purchased some FMM230 trackers and after configuring them, they send well-formatted messages but on occasion will send just 'ff' after converting to hex or send a well-formatted message but have 'ff' at the start which causes the parser to fail. Example message after conversion to hex below:

Hex:ff

Hex:ff000000000000004408010000018032d02f1000d02c8aad0f78d14500ae0000050000000c05ef01f0001505c800450105b50023b6001642381f430f1844008d02f10004bc8a1000000bb80001000012f8

Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi there Jackson,

The FF characters preceding the Hex record is a ping. Kindly disable ping and the characters will not be present.

Hi!

I think that itis happening the same to me.
Considerable times to day, during an established TCP Codec8 stream, I recive one packet with 1 byte of payload -> FF
Is this the ping that you're talking about?
Is needed to reply with some specific data?

Could be fine to upgrade the wiki-documentation. I've been looking for information about it but I haven't found it.

Thank you!!!
