Hi,

I am trying to develop Vehicle Tracking System using the FMB920 GPS Tracker. I have gone through the manuals and other documentation provided by the Teltonika. But I am confused about how to setup my own server to send and receive the data from the device. How to save that data on the server. My preferred language for coding is .NET (C#).

And is there any way I can cannot the FMB920 to Azure or AWS server. I know I have to configure the device first using the configurator for all the settings but I don't how the device will communicate with the server. Or is there any server available where I can just simply connect the device and store the data.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

There are 2 options that you can go for here:

 1) Choosing the platforms that are fully integrated with our devices. You may choose any of the Fleet Management platform providers here - https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/Fleet_Management_platforms 

2) Develop your own platform by integrating our data sending protocols https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/Codec#Introduction The software pack can be downloaded from here - https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/Universal_Device_Test_Guide#Protocols_implementation If required, source code can be provided together with TCP/UDP software via VIP Helpdesk. 

As for the AWS server, yes you can connect it with our devices but since MQTT is included in the base firmware yet, I would suggest that you reach out to us via VIP Helpdesk or contact your Sales Manager/Distributor. If you don't have any contacts with our Sales managers, please contact them on our official website https://teltonika-gps.com/and click on the "Contact Us" button.
