I have about 200 fmb920 devices, some of them do not give live information (vehicle position) and when I tried to call them, the ring tone is not complete. In addition, the devices are not replaying the SMS commands at all.

I also have a couple of devices and after speaking with the SIM provider, the device was connecting to network providers that sim was not supporting. We started configuring the allowed and not allowed network providers on the devices and this started sorting out some of our devices.

GSM Operator Code Allowed
setparam 5000:ADDTHECOREHERE 8setparam 5001:ADDTHECODEHERE

GSM Operator Code Not Allowed 9setparam 5500:ADDTHECOREHERE 10setparam 5501:ADDTHECOREHERE 11setparam 5502:ADDTHECOREHERE 12setparam 5503:ADDTHECOREHERE

Might help in your case

kindly jhalewis, what do you mean by "ADDTHECOREHERE"!?. Which core should I use?. And by the way not all the 200 devices not connected. most of them (about 120 devices) are working properly, used the same configurator, the same firmware.

So for example setparam 5000:64501

the 64501 code is the gsm opperator code

Here is a list of opperatyor codes that might help in confugiring this if your choose to
