in Vehicle tracking by anonymous
Hi,

I'm trying to do a POC for a client that need to track them vehicle. I know that teltonika send data TCP/UDP but in this case I need to get data using Serial Communication to get GPS Data like I can have on status of Teltonika Configurator. Why ! the client have a embedded computer on his vehicle and this computer have it Internet connection. So will write a programme that read GPS Data from teltonika using Bluetooth or USB.

Hello there,

Good day. Thank you for your question.

Yes, you can get the log data from the device via Bluetooth/Serial connection.

For debugging via Bluetooth, please refer here - https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/How_to_debug_FMB_device_over_Android_smartphone%3F

For debugging via Serial connection, please try the Terminal software - https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FM6_Testing_RS-232_and_RS-485_TCP_Link_Mode#Links_for_download

Baudrate: 115200

Handshaking: None

Command-line: .log:1

Kindly try this and let me know if it helps.

Best regards.
