Hi,

I'm working with Beacons in a FMB920 FW 03.25.15 Rev 32 and I have the followin problem, In "Beacon Settings->Beacon Detection" I set "Configured" and after I write in the "Beacon List" the Namespace and Instance for Eddystone Beacon, I "Save to Device" and all works fine, the device recognize the beacon without problem, but if I send to the "Beacon List" the Beacon Namespace and Instance by SMS or GPRS command via "setparam 1600:9275d41986f326becaac:000000000001;" this executes succesful, the beacon enter to "Beacon List" but FMB920 doesn't recognize the beacon like valid :(

I try with FMB920, FMB130, FMU125 and the same happen.

Additional info, when I "Load from device" the config, I edit the "Beacon List" and after save with "Save to device" then beacon is recognized and works fine.

¿Some idea?

Hello.

Before setting beacon id in the list you schould change Beacon Detection to :configured (setparam 134:2)

Beacon Ids can be entered the following way: UUID:Major:Minor. Any of the ID parts can be omitted ex., UUID::, UUID::Minor, etc

To set beacon id in the list you schould send: setparam 1600:UUID:Major:Minor or combination but UUID schould be 16 bytes, Major 2 bytes and minor: 2 bytes. You could check sensor UUID, Major and Minor in the Configurator, status tab:

Thanks for your answer, but we had already tried everything indicated, we only had to update to the latest firmware version. The problem persists, basically it is when a beacon ID is sent to the "Beacon List" via SMS or GPRS, it enters the list but is not recognized. But if the same Beacon is defined in the "Beacon List" through Configurator, it is recognized.
