Hi there,

I am interested in knowing how the accelerometer of FMB device calculates eco driving events and how to overcome false readings from accelerometer.

Also if possible mention the accelerometer module teltonika is using.

Here we can share the system working principles of our Eco/Green Driving solution: When vehicle parameters exceed the values of Max Acceleration, Max Braking or Max Cornering parameters, the scenario is activated – please review https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/Green_Driving_Solution.

For the scenario to run;

• The relevant configuration settings need to be made – please review https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FMB140_Features_settings#Eco.2FGreen_Driving.
• The device needs to be mounted according to the instructions – please review https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FMB140_First_Start#Mounting_recommendations.
• The device (x, y and z axes) need to be calibrated – please review https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FMB140_Accelerometer_Features_settings#Accelerometer_Calibration. After the calibration process eco driving functionality becomes active and calibration data will be used to determine harsh acceleration, braking and cornering events.
