Hi,

Can get my FMM001 device to send me OBDII Fuel level ? I'm using the GPSWox platform and I fail to get the data after setting the Fuel Level priority to Low ("  setparam 40280:1").

I should get the fuel level value sent with id 48 in the packet (see https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FMM001_Teltonika_Data_Sending_Parameters_ID) but it's not the case.

Furthermore, when I query the device with "  obdinfo", all PIDs have value 0. Should they be? Here's the response: Prot;0,VIN:N/A,TM:6150,CNT:0,ST:PROT DETECT,P1:0x0,P2:0x0,P3:0x0,P4:0x0,MIL:0,DTC:0,ID3,Hdr:0,Phy:0

I've, of course, enabled the OBD feature.

Thanks,

Hello

To check avaible PIDs vehicle must have ignition on. Please turn the ignition and send obdinfo. In response you schould receive PIDs, you could check if fuel level parameter is avaible using OBD PID Reader as described here:

I actually sent the obdinfo command while ignition was on. But, as I said, there was no PID in the response. What should I do?

Please check if device is correctly inserted into OBDII socket.

What is your vehicle model and production year ?
by
I believe the device is correctly inserted as I'm getting I/O elements from it.

Model = Renault Premium 460 DXI

Production Year = 2012

Hello

FMM001 is dedicated for light commercial vehicles. CAN line in trucks uses different protocol thus PIDs are not avaible.

Is there an equivalent device to FMM001 (in terms of features) for trucks?

Hello

You could use LV-CAN200 or ALL-CAN300 adapter with the FMX1XY or FMX640 device.

LV-CAN300 reads more parameters, but with both adapters fuel level in % is avaible for Renault PREMIUM DXi (627) 2006+
