Is it possible to activate the fall detection scenario for motorcycles? Something similar to crash detection, but the accelerometer must be triggered by an angle value not by the acceleration value.

Yes, this is possible with the I/O elements X, Y and Z obtained from the Accelerometer but this depends on where the device is mounted and how it is calibrated. So the device will exhibit values from the axes and on the server-side, the angle will be calculated using the vectors (angle between 2 vectors).

Theoretically, this can be done on the server side. When the Z-axis drops below 1000 mG.

This means your motorcycle is not vertical.

But I was hoping you have a solution for sending SMS in case of fall. Just like how towing detection works.

If you would like to receive an SMS notification when the threshold of the Z-axis exceeds then you may enable it under the IO settings in the configurator. Please refer to the images below:

Similarly, you may do the same for other IO parameters. Also, take note that the settings above are not fixed and can be changed based on your use case scenario.
