Good day everybody,
Please what is the mean of each value (0-5) on GSM Signal (Property ID AVL 21) ?
Maybe means the value of strength signal in dbm...

Thanks for your help.

Regards.

Hello Dianafern,

Good day. Thank you for your question.

For the CSQ value, please refer below:

CSQ >= 99,  or CSQ <= 1, GSM = 0

CSQ < 6, GSM = 1

6 <= CSQ < 10, GSM  = 2

10 <= CSQ < 15, GSM = 3

15 <= CSQ < 20, GSM = 4

20 <= CSQ < 99, GSM= 5

So, for example, the range for each of the values will be as follows:

GSM = 0 : RSSI >= -111 dBm or less, not known or not detectable

GSM = 1 : RSSI < -101 dBm

GSM = 2 : -101 dBm <= RSSI < -93 dBm

GSM = 3 : -93 dBm <= RSSI < -83 dBm

GSM = 4 : -83 dBm <= RSSI < -73 dBm

GSM = 5 : -73 dBm <= RSSI < +91 dBM

Please go through this and let me know if it helps.

Thanks Vivek!

I appreciate your detailed explanation and I would like to do an correction, respect  the expression for GSM=0, the correct expression is RSSI <= -111 right?
Hello there,

Good day. Thank you for your reply.

My apologies for the wrong sign, yes it should be RSSI equals -111dBm or less.

Kind regards.
