Hello Jack. Leonard,
Good day. Thank you for the question.
For this case, I will be taking FMB920 as an example. There are 2 criteria that you need to consider:
1) Wire connection - please refer here https://teltonika-gps.com/downloads/en/fmb920/FMB920-wiring-scheme-v1.1.png. Also, refer here for the automotive relay connection https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FMB920_Accessories
2) Send an SMS/GPRS command to the device to block the engine - https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FMB_setdigout
In this case, we refer to "For devices with 1 digital output", therefore the command will be as follows:
The SMS Command structure are as follows:
With SMS login and Password :- <SMS login><space><SMS password><space><Command><Space><Value>
Without SMS login and Password :- <space><space><Command><Space><Value>
For activating the digital output : <space><space>setdigout 1
For deactivating the digital output : <space><space>setdigout 0
If you are using GPRS commands then you may skip the <space> and the login credentials (login and password)
Kindly go through this and let me know if it helps.
Best regards.
