Hi team there is a possibility to connect the ibuton to the immobilizer so that when the ibutton button is connected the immobilizer is active and if we remove the ibutton button the immobilizer is deactivated. If it is possible please like doing this setup on an FMB120 box.

I would also like to know how to do a simple configuration of the ibutton on an FMB120 box.

Hi, this is our scenario for FMB120 for full security (iButton to authorize ignition and the option to turn off the car at any time sending a GPRS or SMS command:

1. iButton is used to authorize the car ignition against the iButton list like the normal installation using a relay and DOUT2, that you can found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjuiJjAejWU

2. The same relay is used to stop/start the vehicle activated by SMS/GPRS command using the DOUT1 connected with DOUT2 at the relay.

Depends of GPS platform the way how you configure the command with GPRS.

Regards.

Hello.

iButton is used for authorization. So it cannot really be used as You described as iButton is used to turn scenario OFF (because authorization is successful) rather than ON.

If configured like this and Ignition source is set to DIN1

I would work like this (assuming relay is installed):

When driver tries to turn on Ignition, DOUT 1 gets turned on which prevents it, and driver has authorize itslef via iButton. So iButton gets read via reader and if its ID is authorized, meaning it is in the list authorized ID list (list can be found on 1-wire tab in configurator), driver gets authorized and DOUT 1 gets turned off, which allows driver to turn on Ignition.

If there are more questions regarding this, please ask.

Best Regards
