I have purchased a new FMC130 unit. I have connect it in and works fine while connected to the configurator. I have inserted a working SIM (it has been checked in a phone) but I am getting the status:

Modem Status = Modem on

SIM State = Ready

GPRS Status = Deactivated

Actual Operator Code = 0

Signal Level = No Signal

I have uploaded the Dump logs here:

Hi,

I can see that your device has connected temporarily to the operator on one occasion from the logs you provided. I can't pinpoint the exact cause, but I could take a look if you gathered a different type log. Details on how to do that are described in this document (make sure to leave the program on for at least 3 minutes):

Upload it here and I'll get back to you.

Best regards,

Hi,

I've checked the last log you've attached. I believe I see the issue - the operator requires some specific modem configuration before connection and due to that, modem is in "Registration denied" state. If you can, double check if the SIM card can be used on a smartphone or etc. to confirm that the SIM card has the capability to connect. If the issue is confirmed not to be with the SIM card itself, then this was fixed in later firmware versions as far as I know (the one in your device is quite outdated).

You should get the latest firmware I mentioned and update the device, but since I don't work at Teltonika, I can't send you it, you should contact them (or the company you bought it from).

Best regards,
