Hello.

Could you specify what you require?

Device can send data as long as it is powered on, it does not matter if it is powered on by external or internal battery.

Unplug detection event only informs when device was disconnected from an external power source.

When the device disconnected from the car's OBD port, then it should trigger unplug detection event?

Yes.

If unplug detection mode is set to Simple it will trigger unplug detection event when external power source is lost.

It already set to Simple, but still unable to trigger unplug detection. And what is the IO id for unplug detection?

Hello

AVL ID for Unplug event is 252.

Please provide screenshot of your configuration.

Also make sure that internal battery is connected to the device.

Best Regards
