Question

We need to get the car's current odometer automatically when the device is plugged in, how to achieve that?

The device we use is FMB001, Firmware version 03.25.05 Rev:00

Hello.

FMB001 is not capable of reading real odometer value from the vehicle, you can only set it up yourself and it just continue counting and adding distance traveled to that odometer. But there is FMB003 that is capable of reading vehicle's real fuel level and odometer, but you have to consult your sales manager about compatibility with specific car's model.

If you are using FMB001 there is no alternative way to get that value with this device if that is your question.

We do have FMB003 that can get this value if the vehicle is supported and other FMB devices that support CAN adapters that can also get total mileage.
