Question

So if we have auto geofence setup on the device. When the geofence boundary is crossed does the device send an alert, data or any other type of packet to the server? Is the only way for the device to notify the vehicle owner via SMS from the sim card in the device? Not via GPRS so the server can send a push notification?

Surely the device pings a warning to the server so the server can handle the notifications?

Hi,

You can configure the auto geofence as high priority.So the device will make a record and send to server immediately when a geofence event created.

AVL ID for this event is 175.

I have set an event for parameter 175 and value = 0. No event is logged 90% of the time. Only twice out of 20-25 tests has the event been logged.
