hi,

following the modification of our network architecture, we want to change the public ip address of our server which is in our different fmb 120 boxes by a URL like this: www.xxxx.net. are fmb 120 boxes and fma boxes able to resolve domain names? can we use a domain name instead of an ip address?

thanks.

Hello Bezalel,

Thank you for your query.

As a server domain, you can use the address instead of IP. Devices can understand it.

Please let us know if you will have any questions.

Thank you for your response, Bezalel.

If you have set SMS login and password: "login pass setparam 2004:www.xxxxx.net"

If SMS login and password are not set to leave two spaces before the command: "  setparam 2004:www.xxxxx.net"

Stay safe,
