I would like to change the parameters of my gps boxes (FMB120, FMA, etc.) remotely via GPRS without going through sms.
how to open a GPRS communication (socket) with it?

Do you have Codec12 implemented?  more informtion about commmuniction over GPRS messages can be found @

Hercules can be used to send gprs messages:

Informtion shows how to take remote log, but this program can be used for gprs commands. when device sends IMEI you can answer with 01 and then send gprs command.
