FMB630

From the user manual it should be possible to configure manual CAN for both channels.
And this is not possible for channel 2,
Downloaded the latest software and firmware.

Hello,

For FMB630 it is not possible to configure Manual CAN2. Manual CAN2 uses CODEC16 protocol, which is not supported by base firmware version. It is our mistake for implementing MCAN2 in the settings. In the newest firmware and software versions Manual CAN2 is removed, but this version is not released now.

I suggest to use Manual CAN1 for now. We are sorry for all issues You faced.

If You have any questions, feel free to ask.

Best Regards

Thank you for your answer!

Does any of your other devices support Manual CAN2?
like FM6300 or FMB640?

We want to use this setup on two different CAN networks in the same vehicle

Currently neither FM6300 or FMB640 support Manual CAN2. We are developing firmware for FMB640 to enable both, Manual CAN1 and Manual CAN2, but this version is not released and I cannot comment about the terms.

Which parameters do You want to read? FMB640 support various FMS parameters and using FMB + LVCAN/ALLCAN - even more parameters from the vehicle can be read.

Ok thanks for your reply

We want to integrate the Teltonika device in our system, and the CAN pdos does not follow any spesific standard.
There are two busses running on different speeds, so connecting them together is not an option.

But it is good information that the FMB640 in the future will support two manual CAN channels
