Hello,

We use FM6300 to track several vehicles

There is the possibility to enter 2 server adresses. Can someone explain how the FM6300 use those 2 ?

- Is it a copy of data on both server ? This would mean data is stored until it is send on the 2 servers

- Or every time there is a connection issue it tries on the second one ? Then when does it switch again on the first one

The manual specifies it is duplicated and not back up. But we are not sure of the meaning.

Thanks for the additionnal explanation

Best regards

Hello,

Thank you for your query.

For FM6300, both servers are using for same data storing. It means that Server 2 is used as duplicated server (not back up server).

More information you can find here: https://wiki.teltonika.lt/view/FM6300_GPRS

If you will have more questions, please feel free to ask.
