HI,

how can I retrieve canbus data from a vehicle that are not listed on all can and lv can list?

is there any complete manual guide for how to configure using manual can IO? how to get data from vehicle, how to set that data back to FMB640 or allcan or LVcan, how to connect to FMB640 without USB connection, because in manual guide it said manual CAN IO can only configure if USB not connected.

Thank you for your query,

If the vehicle is not yet in the list of LV-CAN200/ALL-CAN300 supported vehicles, please contact your sales manager to request for a new schematics to be created. Support team should acquire this information.

Provide details of vehicle:

  • Make
  • Model
  • Year
  • VIN
  • Screenshots of OBDII port, dashboard, vehicle
Please note that FMB640 can only read data directly only from FMS using CAN L / CAN H wires. If used in light vehicles CAN adapters should be used.

A CAN adapter connection via USB to FMB640 is a must. The device can only be connected only in this way. You can configure your device before connecting, configure the device settings using SMS messages or by uploading configuration file via FotaWeb / FOTA application.

based on your information, could you give us a guide on how to read data directly from FMS?

I already tried connect CAN L / CAN H from FMB640 directly to CAN H / CAN L from vehicle (i use Suzuki Ertiga for testing) and opened FMB640 Configurator version 4.23.0.0 and FMB640 fw 00.03.45, and open FMS IO, but no indication at all, is that the correct way to read CAN data?

Suzuki Ertiga is a light vehicle and does not provide FMS data ( FMS is a specific protocol used in trucks and trailers), this vehicle can only be connected using CAN-Adapters:

  • LV-CAN200
  • ALL-CAN300
  • CAN-CONTROL
