I have two Doubts

1.Can we communicate between any teltonika devices with raspberry pi 3 with wired or direct communication, not through sms communication.

2. I need to alert driver with few voice alerts, Is that Possible?

Hello,

Thank you for your question,

  1. Teltonika trackers (ex. FMB125 / FMB640) support RS232/RS485 serial communication modes, also trackers can be paired with external "Bluetooth" devices (BLE/BT sensors / Beacons).
  2. Please note that "Call Feature" is available using "Bluetooth" hands free equipment. Find more information on this https://wiki.teltonika.lt/view/FMB120_SMS/Call_settings and see if it is suitable for your solution.

If not please provide us us with more details on your solution so we may assist you,

Regards.

Hi,

I'm also looking at sending data from Raspberry Pi or Arduino over RS232. Is the there any way you can get data from RS232 to generate an alert over GSM to something like trackit247? Would it be easier to set up alerts if you connected the Pi to CANBUS?
