Hello,

I'm connecting a custom bluetooth scanner to the RS232 port of the FMB640 and trying to send the data to our data server.
The server is configured to use UDP and I'm able to receive AVL data.
I have tried different modes with the correct baudrate but am not receiving any data on the server side. Is any of the RS232 mode working with UDP? Or do we have to configure the connection to the server to use TCP instead?

Hello,

Thank you for your question.

Device should send data to server using UDP protocol on any of  RS232 mode. Can you make sure link is open when data is being sent from RS232? Maybe after AVL data is sent link closes and data from RS232 is not sent at all). Is there any chance that you could take the log from device?

Thank you. Hope this will help.

Regards.
