Hi,

I need to connect a FM5300 to canbus on a International 7600 2011 truck and a Freightliner M2 2017. Can you help me with a wire scheme to connect the AVL and a list of available parameters?

Hello,

In order to connect FM5300 to CAN-bus, the vehicle has to support J1939 protocol and FMS interface.

FMS vehicle brands supported:

  • Mercedes Benz
  • Volvo
  • MAN
  • DAF
  • Iveco
  • Scania
  • Renault

In your case, I suggest using ALL-CAN300/LV-CAN200 adapters to read CAN data.
