Hi,

How can I shut down my fmb920 so that it stops sending me messages when I'm driving or camping in my van?

I have disabled GPRS as I'm only using it as a GPS locator / shock / movement sensor if the van gets stolen.

I have tried to get it into ultra deep sleep, but it only seems to go into deep sleep as the movement sensor always wakes it up. I was thinking to use the yellow Din wire connected to a 12 volt supply via a hidden switch so that I could basically switch the sleep mode on & off.

I appreciate any help...

Hi there,

I'd suggest to change data acquisition settings if you don't wan to receive records so often .

For example you could set  On stop, "Send period " to 0 to disable record sendiong

Moving  "send period " to 0 to disable record sending .

FMB920 will continue  making records and saving to internal memory .
