HI, We have a big client that is using FMA120 NGP, the system in place is "GPS + Immobilizer + Identification". That demand is to "Start & Stop" vehicules remotely but unfortunatly, the "Start & Stop" option is not fonctionning on our devices because our immobilizer is on DOUT2 whereas the Start & Stop option commands the DOUT1. Is it possible to enable Start & Stop option to command the DOUT2?

Hello,

Thank you for your question.

You can use DOUT2 for immobilizer function as long as you have configured the device to control DOUT2 value.

Schematics should be set according to an example: https://teltonika.lt/downloads/en/fmb120/FMB120-wiring-scheme-3.jpg

In your case you would have to change and configure your GPRS command structure to control DOUT2 instead of DOUT1

For example SMS/GPRS command can set up for both Digital Outputs

setdigout ## Y1 Y2 Set digital output.
1.# – 0 or 1 (0 - OFF or 1 – ON) for DOUT1.
2.# – 0 or 1 (0 - OFF or 1 – ON) for DOUT2.
Y1 – timeout value for DOUT1 if needed (in seconds).
Y2 – timeout value for DOUT2 if needed (in seconds).

If DOUT2 value is 1 means that immobilizer function is on if the value is 0 it has been set off.

Note that GPRS commands should be sent in Codec12 format.

More information on Codec12 can be found in the wiki:

Hi Teltonika support,

thank you for your explanation but we need your assistance to enable the "Start/Stop vehicule" option via our plateforme " Geocal Fleet" to activate or di-activate DOUT2 because we had some feed back saying that option activates or di-activates only DOUT1. Is that possible?
