Dear Teltonika Support

Is there any Information about this years "GPS Week Number Rollover" on 6th of April 2019.
Are Teltonika devices in any way affected of this problem?

More Information for ex. https://www.spirent.com/blogs/positioning/2018/january/gps-rollover-week

Hello!
In Russia we have lots of FM41 which don't work since 6th of April.

It's about 2-3 hundreds.

What should we do ?

Hello,

Thank you for your question.

Tests of GPS Week Rollover simulation were performed, and based on that, Teltonika as a manufacturer of GPS fleet management devices confirms that GPS Week Rollover should not affect our trackers.

If you would like to get some more information, please contact Teltonika directly.

Best regards,

Teltonika

We tested all GPS modules which were ever used on our devices. Even old ones like: FM42,FM21,FM22, FM31, FM41 etc.

Tested GPS modules: NEO-5m (ublox), TG1000 (our manufacture, chip = MT3333), GGG (our manufacture, chip = Teseo II), LocSys (dont recall which chip this is).

And all of those gps modules - passed our test for rollover after "on 6th of April 2019" date.
