Hello,

So i configured OBD II parameters in teltonika configurator (by giving them low/high priority) and fuel level information isn`t send to my server(based on AVL).
Although when i connect diagnosis hardware (from TeXa via ODB) I am able to read fuel level in tank. I`d like to know if is possible to read that data with FMB001, and if so how I can check it (so I can check my other vehicles by myself).

based on this thread i`m posting obdinfo, obdinfo 1, allver outputs.

obdinfo
Prot:9,VIN:N/A,TM:150,CNT:8,ST:IDLE,P1:0xD83A0011,P2:0x1,P3:0x80080000,P4:0x0,MIL:0,DTC:0,ID1,Hdr:18DAF101,Phy:1

obdinfo 1
P1:0xD83A0011,P2:0x1,P3:0x80080000,P4:0x0,C1:0x983A0000,C2:0x0,C3:0x80000,C4:0x0,Hdr:18DAF101,Phy:1,CFG:18DA01F1,v1.3.0

allver
FMB001,03.08.05,00,352094083372745,2018/04/18 09:05,0.5,207kB/346kB,108MB/114MB,TM25Q_R_01.00.03.00_000,2,691,AXN_5.10_3333,0,1,-1

and here is example of parsed data by Traccar server
{"priority":0,"sat":18,"event":0,"ignition":true,"motion":false,"workMode":0,"rssi":5,"io200":0,"gpsStatus":1,"io31":14,"io32":82,"io35":106,"io37":0,"io39":16,"pdop":0.9,"hdop":0.6000000000000001,"power":28.034,"io24":0,"battery":4.022,"io68":0,"io36":720,"distance":0.0,"totalDistance":59055.0,"hours":14263970}

Thanks!

Hello

Thank you for the question.

Firstly, I want to let you know that OBDII reading for each car might produce different results.

According to obdinfo response you can check available OBD parameters via OBD Pid Reader. OBD reader can be found here: https://www.glmsoftware.com/Downloads1.aspx

Detailed answer how to find out the parameters that can be read is provided in: https://community.teltonika-gps.com/2992/renault-zoe-r90-battery-and-canbus-data

Please find additional information here:

If you have any further questions don't hesitate to ask. Alternatively, upvote the answer if it provided a solution to your question.

Stay awesome and have a great day. :)

Thank you for your answer!

So how can I possibly read the fuel data from vehicle? Should I buy differnet device which enables additional analog input? Will I be able to read the data using FMB630 connecting to CAN?

EDIT: I`d like to track Mercedes trucks, which use ISO 15765-4 CAN (29 bit ID, 250 kbaud) ODB protocol

Thanks!

If your vehicle doesn't provide the necessary data via OBD, there are still other ways to read fuel with teltonika device: analog, digital sensors, CAN adapters, etc. I would advice you to discuss your options with your sales manager to find the best solution that fits your application.
