We wanted to extract exact fuel level from vehicle.

Vehicle: Maruti Swift VDI

Which AVL I'd is used for measuring exact fuel level.

Property ID in AVL packet	Property Name	Bytes	Description
12	Fuel Used GPS	4	Fuel Used in mili Liters
13	Average Fuel Use	2	Average Fuel use in (Litersx100) /100km

Can you explain what is the meaning  or difference of Fuel Used GPS and Average Fuel Use.

A:One denotes total fuel used, the other average fuel consumption per 100km.

First check if the ID provides values and then choose whichever you want. I would go for 48 or 12.

I installed the FM3001 on my vehicle, but can't get AVL ID 12 and 13, even the fuel option is ticked in OBD and I/O.

 why?
