What's the fundamental difference between FMC001 and FMC003?.

In other words, if I go with FMC001 what would I lose?

Hello

You don't lose anything and you gain the ability to support 3G

Generally FMC001 has a 

2G bands

3G bands

4G LTE Cat 1 bands

FMC003 

2G bands

4G LTE Cat 1 bands

The 3G network is simply losing its popularity and there are already announcements of turning it off

If you lose a feature, sounds like a downgrade.

Well, probably the change is more elaborated, like swapping the radio part to one more cost effective, which doesn't have 3G (but keeps 2G?), and/or at the same time adds more band supports, dunno.

Regarding OBD-II device data, would I expect differences?, or with firmware upgrade both can have equal support?.
