halo can anyone tell me about how long the estimated time (in hours & minutes) will be storage on the teltonika fmb 640 module if there is no gsm signal at the location of the unit where the gps is installed Specs:
1. use can bus = ? 2. standard specification =? with : 1. with no memory card sd card = ? 2. use a 32 gb sd card memory card?

Hello.

When there is no GPRS, FMB640 collects records in internal memory, which in case of FMX640 devices is 1MB (with possibility to extend it using external memory card). Number of records saved in memory depends on each record size. If there is no I/O elements enabled and you collect only GPS data and use Codec 8, record size is reduced to 45B. You can calculate record size using Codec 8 or Codec 8 Extended specification and each I/O element size.

Sample calculation:

100B of record size.
1 Mb FMx6 device for record storing == 1024 KB == 1048576 B
converting to records count == 1048576 / 100 == 10485
lets assume your device saves 1 record every 1 second. 10484 seconds == 174 minutes == almost 3 hours.
