I've recently purchased a FMB001 to readout the battery charge status of my Hyundai Ioniq. Now the supported vehicle list is a bit confusing to me; the FMX00A SUPPORTED VEHICLES LIST does show the vehicle, but not the FMX001 + FMX00A SUPPORTED VEHICLES LIST (EV) while I do have the EV variant of the car.

The main problem is that I hardly can readout any data over OBDII, in the configuration tool I only see:
- Number OF DTC
- Fault codes

The VIN is not readout, so I guess its not sent fwb web.

So the question is does FMB001 support the Hyundai Ioniq and if so, how to make it work.

Hello

Yes Hyundai Ioniq 5 is supported by FMB001

You need to use the dedicated FW version for EV vehicles

Hi,

It's not the Hyundai Ioniq 5, but the predecessor the Hyundai Ioniq EV (28kWh);

Ioniq 5: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyundai_Ioniq_5

Ioniq: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyundai_Ioniq

I think what is confusing, it's that this car came with 3 types:

- Hybrid
- Plugin Hybrid
- Full electric.
