I'm getting RPM(FMC130; io_85)  from CAN adapter for my vehicles
In CAN adapter setting, I've configured IO as: Send data with 0if ignition is OFF: Disabled
Now when the ignition is off, I'm still getting non zero RPM.
My question is; What does it mean when you enable "Send data with 0 when ignition is off"?  does it lock the Last known RPM or resets it to zero?
What to do if I want some parameter values to be reset to zero and others locked when ignition is OFF?
Appreciate your help

Hello.

When parameter Send data with 0 when ignition is off is enabled, then when ignition is off (configured ignition source), device will send avl 85=0.

When it is disabled and ignition is off, it will not send avl 85 parameter in record

Please verify what is ignition status (avl 239) when you receive frozen RPM values.

I've double checked the avl 239 status. It is zero but RPM is still no zero( giving the last known non-zero value). Should I Enable[ Send data with 0 when ignition is off ]?

The issue is not because of this parameter settings. Please check if your device has current firmware version installed and if CAN adapter uses program number dedicated for your vehicle and if it has SWDate newer that mentioned next to program number.

SWDate of connected CAN adapter can be verified with lvcangetinfo command or with Fota Web
