Question

Bought Eye Beacon today (BTSID1). No problem to connect to it via Eye App on iOS 16.2 and configure it as iBeacon. But the UUID field has only length to input UUID without hyphens. iBeacon UUID field in the Eye App trims last 4 chars if UUID contains hyphens.

This way it can't be used as iBeacon with Apple's beacon ranging/monitoring.

Is it something to be fixed with the future firmware update or there is no chance that Eye Beacon will ever be compatible with Apple's CoreLocation/CLBeacon framework?

Eye beacon is great quality HW. Any  plans to remove the incompatibility with Apple's CoreLocation/CLBeacon framework? Is it only no-hyphens UUID that causes the problem, or there is something else?
