Hello everyone,

I am trying to connect my RUT955 to a sensor. I have to use the UART configuration. How can I from a bash/lua script write and listens to an output ?

There does not seem to be any built in functions in Lua to handle serial communications (there are, but they need additional library difficult to install)

In lua, when I try to io.write, and then io.read, it simply does not work.

I managed to make it work somehow on the terminal, opening two windows and trying to write on one, and listens on the other, but half the time it does not work for an unkwown reason.

I read on the data sheet of RUT955 that the maximum baud rate is 119200. I am using a 3000000 baud rate for my sensor (which is by the way connected to a USB connector), is that a possible source of problem ?

Thank you,
