FM - Data security: Data exchanged with the server are encrypted? Would it be possible to support TLS with custom certificates?

In base firmware of FM devices, there is no any encryption. Data is sent encoded to our own proprietary protocol. As for encryption methods, indeed it is possible to develop such a firmware to support AES, TLS or some other encryption method. Actually we’ve already made special firmware versions for differenc clients, where we implemented AES128 in one firmware, and TLS with certificates for other client.
