I have a question about the Teltonika device FMB125.

The connections with the server (for example Traccar) are persistent or not?

That is the device, after sending the status data, does it disconnect itself from the server?

Is it a configurable behavior?

Data link with FMB120 and server is not persistent. It have limits how long it can be opened.

In configurator you can change some behavior by increasing/decreasing waiting times (GPRS -> Records settings)

Also there are some cases where operators itself closes the link. For example they have set not to have open link more that 2 hours.
