I have asked this question before from a different viewpoint.

For the FMC125:

The data sheet states the Online Deep Sleep current as <12mA

The quick start manual states the Online Deep Sleep current is <7mA

Now which is it I ask. Does anyone know what exactly the current draw is?

The following request for help sent to the Help desk:

Sir,

I am having a problem with the sleep mode on an FMC125.

1/ The data sheet states the Online Deep Sleep current as <12mA

The quick start manual states the Online Deep Sleep current is <7mA

What I get in practice is about 18 mA, this is a lot higher than I was expecting. I made the purchase on the info provided in quick start manual, Online Sleep Mode < 7mA. So I am a little disappointed.

2/ I am unable to get the unit to enter Deep Sleep mode. If I select Deep Sleep mode , setparam 102:2 the unit will not go into ANY sleep mode the current draw is about 45mA and the android phone app shows No Sleep. The same applies for Ultra Deep Sleep mode.

I f I select Online Deep Sleep mode, setparam 102:3 the unit goes into Online Sleep mode after the timeout and shows Online Deep Sleep on the phone app. GPS sleep mode works.

I have read and studied all the Wiki guides and tried MANY different configuration settings but to no avail.

Firmware 03.27.13 Rev 57

IMEI       866907055226095

Hello

Generally both information is true

Online Deep Sleep

At 12V < 7mA

At 12V < 12mA

However, more  accurate information is provided in the link below

Online Deep Sleep: average 6.5 mA
