Hi Team,

Hope you are doing well.

We have chose the ignition source to movement due to some unavoidable reasons, so now we are not able to segregate the data of vehicle idling and parked.

Idling condition   : Ignition = 1 and movement = 0

parked condition : Ignition = 0 and movement = 0

So now we chosen ignition source to movement, so if the vehicle stopped in traffic(movement=0) than the ignition will also be 0 and this considered to parked state but in actual it is Idle state.

Is there any way we can segregate this data by any parameter available or we should use other DINs available for ignition source.

Appreciate your quick and prompt response on this.

Best Regards,

Mohit

Hello.

If ignition source is movement, ignition=movement, so condition Ignition = 1 and movement = 0 is never met.

You schould use DIN, power voltage or RPM as ignition source to have real engine ignition status.
