I have a little project on my hands.

Create a system that allows to execute remote start (engine warm up) and custom can commands (heated seats, defrost etc) - all done via a phone app or IP address and web server - must be 4G/LTE

Test Vehicle 2011 VW Scirocco TSI DSG with regular key, no keyless.

I know these years cannot do engine start by CANBUS, so the device must have some I/O to trigger a relay circuit.

I have an option of disabling immo in the ECU, but maybe there is a known way of spoofing immo on VW via can messages?

Hello.

Teltonika FM devices and CAN adapters do not allow to start vehicle remotely.

Note, that remote engine start is not safe and in some countries it is illegal to start vehicle engine and leave it idling to warm up vehicle because traffic law prohibits avoidable exhaust emissions. This means if your car is not moving (exceptions are at traffic lights) you must shut off your engine.
