FMB140 is able to get CAN data as long as this 3 conditions are meet:
- Proper program number
- Proper Hardware installation
- Proper configuration (program number could be included here but let me make som differences)
Program number: we can provide porgram number for your specific vehicle model, if your vehicle is not in our list you can perform Autoscan feature which will provide the best match program for your vehicle.
Hardware installation: FMB140 has 2 CAN channels and each channel has CAN H and CAN L wires. Make sure you are using the right channel and wiring.
Configuration: even if you have the correct program number and hardware installation, you need to enable the IO elements you need to include in your record. Available parameters will be highlighted in green in your configurator.
